Xinhua News Agency, Jiuquan, April 23 (Reporters Li Guoli and Liu Yi) After research and decision by the General Command of the Space Station Application and Development Flight Mission, the astronaut crew carrying out the Shenzhou 20 manned flight mission consists of three astronauts, Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui and Wang Jie, with Chen Dong as the commander.
According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the crew includes two space pilots and one flight engineer. Chen Dong is about to become the first astronaut to fly three times among the second batch of astronauts. Chen Zhongrui and Wang Jie are both the third batch of astronauts and are about to embark on their personal first flight journey.
