The first batch of 1,000 kW power level battery-powered locomotives are off the line

On the 21st, my country's first batch of 1,000 kilowatt power-grade battery-powered locomotives were officially launched at CRRC Dalian Locomotives Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Dalian Company"). This batch of 10 new energy locomotives were ordered by Zhongnan Iron and Steel Group, marking the first time that Guangdong has achieved the application of serialized new energy locomotives.

Yang Wanlu, the overall designer of the locomotive development department of CRRC Dalian Company, introduced that the locomotive uses high-power lithium iron phosphate power batteries to achieve zero emissions. At the same time, power batteries have set up multi-level protection mechanisms to build a full-chain safety guarantee system. The liquid-cooled fast charging technology it uses to achieve ultra-high power charging of 680 kilowatts, and the vehicle can be replenished in 70 minutes. The liquid cooling system of the charging pile can achieve rapid heat dissipation and ensure efficient and stable charging process. The locomotive adopts domestically independently developed battery cell products with international leading level, and uses mature new energy vehicle charging modules, which is 99% compatible with new energy vehicle charging piles, which is extremely convenient for user configuration and use.

In addition, the locomotive reserves an unmanned intelligent transportation interface, which can simulate the operating habits of senior drivers, realize all-weather unmanned operations in closed scenarios, and improve transportation efficiency. Its synchronous auxiliary observation system can broaden the driver's vision, eliminate blind spots, and make up for the limitations of traditional visual observation. The digital plane shunting system equipped with a locomotive improves the efficiency, safety and intelligence of shunting operations through integrated wireless communication, positioning technology, electronic maps and automated control.

With all 10 locomotives delivered within the year, the Zhongnan Steel Group factory will bid farewell to the era of high-pollution diesel locomotives and press the fast forward button for the green transformation of traditional industries. (Reporter Zhang Yun)
