 Recently, staff from Zhalong National Nature Reserve monitored that artificially bred free-range red-crowned cranes successfully hatched crane babies. The breeding period of red-crowned cranes is from mid-March to mid-June every year. Female red-crowned cranes usually only lay 2 eggs per year. He’s father and He’s mother took turns hatching, and the baby crane broke his shell and was born after more than 30 days.
