According to the State Food and Drug Administration, on the afternoon of May 13, the State Food and Drug Administration held a video conference on the intelligent transformation of cosmetics registration management in Guangzhou. Xu Jinghe, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Bureau, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration introduced the construction and application of AI-assisted verification tools for cosmetic filing, and the participants put forward suggestions on expanding application scenarios and functional optimization. The meeting pointed out that in recent years, the drug regulatory system has insisted on leading the modernization of supervision with informatization, and has actively explored around AI empowering supervision, achieving remarkable results. The meeting emphasized that we must focus on high-level safety, high-quality development and high-efficiency governance, firmly grasp the opportunities of the times, actively promote the intelligent transformation of cosmetic supervision, accelerate the construction of a scientific and accurate intelligent auxiliary system, comprehensively strengthen the construction of smart cosmetic supervision capabilities, and continuously improve the level of informatization, digitalization and intelligence of cosmetic supervision.

Relevant responsible persons from relevant departments and directly affiliated units of the State Food and Drug Administration and provincial drug administrations attended the symposium.
