On April 29, at the "New Era Publishing House High-Quality Development Seminar and the 70th Anniversary Conference of the founding of Renmin University of China Press", Renmin University of China officially released the "Characteristics and Physics and Chemical Research Library of the Party's Innovation Theory System" and the "China's Independent Knowledge System Research Library".

These two sets of library were chaired by Zhang Donggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Renmin University of China and Lin Shangli, President, as editorial board directors, and well-known academic experts at home and abroad were organized to jointly complete the compilation of the library (first phase).

"The Party's Innovation Theory System Chemistry, Physics and Chemical Research Library" is a set of landmark academic achievements organized and studied by Renmin University of China, focusing on the systematic and academic chemistry of the Party's innovative theories. The first batch of 16 types are planned. In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, strengthening the chemistry, physics and chemistry of the Party’s innovative theory system will help to more deeply and comprehensively understand the scientific connotation, main content, core essence, spiritual essence and internal logic of the Party’s innovative theory, and improve the scientificity and effectiveness of practice; it will help to build ideological consensus, enhance international discourse power and national cultural soft power.

"China's independent knowledge system research library" is a landmark publishing project that comprehensively demonstrates the construction of China's independent knowledge system, and the first batch of 24 high-quality books are published in a concentrated manner. The library is rooted in the historical inheritance of China's excellent traditional culture and discipline development, focusing on major theoretical and practical issues in the construction of Chinese modernization, and using the Party's innovative theory to lead the innovation of philosophy and social science knowledge, theoretical and method innovation, deeply explore the valuable experience and theoretical innovation achievements in the vivid practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and systematically present the landmark achievements of China's independent knowledge system research. As an important open publishing project, the library will continue to launch more innovative and leading high-level research results to promote the high-quality development of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics, contribute knowledge achievements to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country, and contribute Chinese theory and Chinese wisdom to the progress of civilization and progress of all mankind.

Zhang Donggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Renmin University of China, pointed out that in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Congress Press, it has always adhered to the important mission of building a society in politics, establishing a society in textbooks, strengthening a society in academics, improving a society in innovation and promoting a society in openness, and shoulders the important mission of forging soul veins, building brands, creating quality, making contributions, taking new paths, and becoming a pioneer. Standing at a new starting point of development, the National People's Congress Press must firmly move towards the goal of "Chinese characteristics and world-class" university publishing houses and strive to create a new situation in the Party's college publishing cause.

In the second phase of the meeting, many industry experts made keynote speeches, summarizing the experience of high-quality development of the publishing industry and discussing solving the problems of high-quality development.

In the afternoon of the same day, the theme exhibition "Seven Orders: Rooted in China and Creating First-class - The 70th Anniversary of the Founding of Renmin University of China Press (1955-2025)" opened at the Renmin University of China Museum.
