China's team of infection and infectious disease imaging experts have high-quality service grassroots tour (2025) to Shenyang

An expert team led by Professor Li Hongjun, chairman of the Radiology Professional Committee of the Radiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, chairman of the Radiology Professional Committee of the National Health Commission's Health Technology Promotion and Inheritance Project, and chief medical imaging expert of Beijing You'an Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, came to Shenyang. Through grassroots research, gifts of books, expert lectures, etc., the expert team helps the sinking of high-quality medical resources and the development of grassroots health and health undertakings.

This event is sponsored by the Professional Committee of the Infectious Radiology of the Chinese Research Hospital Society, the Editorial Department of the International English Magazine, the Editorial Department of Xinfa Electronic Magazine of Infectious Diseases, and the Beijing Imaging Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Innovation Alliance, and hosted by the Liaoning Provincial People's Hospital and the Radiology Branch of the Liaoning Medical Association.

On the morning of April 27, on the diagnosis and treatment of infection and infectious diseases, the experts at the conference shared their insights on disease prevention and treatment, health concept transmission, and diagnosis and treatment technology discussion.

"On the road to spreading health and moving towards health together, we empower professional knowledge to the grassroots level, improve the diagnosis and treatment skills at the grassroots level, better serve the patient group, and promote the healthy development of the country's social and economic development." At the opening ceremony, Professor Li Hongjun said that the team promotes the equal importance of prevention and treatment with the concept of "new health" and helps improve the physical fitness of the people.

Professor Tsui Hark, chairman of the 14th Chinese Society of Radiology, former vice president of China Medical University, and former director of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, said that the development of infectious radiology has been gradually moving towards the international community from nothing to something, from small to large, starting from China, and has been promoted step by step. "This unique style has a big pattern and ideas in medical care, scientific research, and management. It has an inspiration to experts in all disciplines and is our role model. This power is worthy of continuous promotion. We must not only want to do things, be able to do things, and get things done, but also promote it in the industry and the entire society, so that people from all walks of life can understand the major of infectious radiation, understand the significance of their existence and the direction of the future."

Professor Zang Peizhuo, director of Liaoning Provincial People's Hospital, explained in his speech that imaging still faces some diagnosis confusions such as "same-image and different diseases", "different-image and same diseases". Zang Peizhuo said that precise diagnosis empowered by new technologies (such as improving the efficiency and accuracy of pulmonary nodules and pneumonia classification under AI-assisted analysis) and the necessity of multidisciplinary collaboration MDT, that is, the linkage between imaging, infectious diseases and microbiology laboratories is the key to solving difficult cases.

Professor Hou Yang, a member of the Radiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, chairman of the Liaoning Radiology Society, and director of the Department of Radiology, Shengjing Hospital, China Medical University, said that due to factors such as climatic conditions, Liaoning is a region with high incidence of infectious diseases. There has not yet been a special system in the research on infection and infectious diseases, which is also a great regret for diagnosis and treatment. We hope that through learning and exchanges with infectious disease experts, we can "take the pulse and prescription" in this regard, drive the common development of the region, build and share win-win situations.

In the summary of the event, Li Hongjun said that this event has inheritance, innovation and development. The work that grassroots personnel need to do in the future is to join the expert team, continuously improve the quality of work for disease diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and ultimately benefit patients.
